Betsy is an experienced communications and marketing director who has held both in-house and agency roles for multinational, governmental and corporate clients. Uniquely positioned-having spent eight years in an award-winning global PR agency; and six years in-house directing internal and external communications and marketing, Betsy’s career began at The White House, in Washington DC, liaising with government officials and writing briefing papers for the President.
Betsy’s foundation in the industry stems from eight years at Burson-Marsteller, in Washington, DC, San Francisco, New York City and Atlanta; where she specialized in crisis communications, issues management and awareness building for multinational corporate and governmental clients. She has won several awards for client services and holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Connecticut.
